PB-PL Right-Left Safety Joint

Application

During tripping operations PB-PL right-left safety joint provides easy release from stuck BHA or drill pipes with rotation to the right.

Design

PB-PL safety joint is a short tube made of alloy steel. It consists of a sub and a body, connected by durable trapezoidal thread.
The connection is sealed off with three sealing rings.
Upper part of the safety joint has box tool joint, lower part - pin tool joint.
The safety joint has central watercourse for circulation.
